Uttarakhand Technical University is a public university in the Indian state of Uttarakhand set up by the Government of Uttarakhand on January 27, 2005, through the Uttarakhand Technical University Act 2005.
It has eight constituent institutes namely,

· Institute of Technology Gopeshwar
· Seemant Institute of Technology Pithoragarh
· Women Institute of Technology Dehradun
· State Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology & Applied Nutrition New Tehri
· Institute of Technology Tanakpur (under construction)
· Institute of Technology Uttarkashi (under construction)
· Institute of Technology, Salt Almora (proposed)
Approximately 118 affiliated Colleges are spread all over the state. It offers courses in Engineering, Management, Law, Pharmacy, Architecture, Hotel Management and Information Technology.
With this Mobile App University intends to offer all information about the university activities via notifications to all Students, Faculties and Guests world wide.
The primary focus of this Mobile App is information distribution, better communication between university, affiliated colleges and students of respective stream.
Mobile app adheres to the Digital India program and provides Technology Benefits and ease of use to the associated members.
